All About Our Team...

Sergeant Robert Moore MHR, BHRS, LPC, is the author and primary developer of My Body…My Life… Bob is a veteran police officer, with over 29 years of service, a school safety and resource officer, a certified defensive tactics instructor through the State of Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement Education and Training, a Behavioral Rehabilitation Specialist, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor and has been an adjunct professor in both psychology and criminal justice. Sergeant Moore holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management of Human Resources from Southern Nazarene University and a Master's Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, as well as postgraduate work in Human Relations. During his career, he has been involved in Street Gang Investigation, Narcotics Investigation, Street Crimes Unit, Field Training, Defensive Tactics, Academy Training, Pistol Team, Peer Support Team, Critical Incident Stress Management and the Crisis Intervention Team. Bob has also been active in presenting this program to schools, colleges, universities, businesses and organizations in and around Oklahoma.

Master Police Officer Marcus Savage is the second developer of My Body…My Life…. Marcus is also a veteran police officer, with over 8 years of service at the Norman Police Department. Marcus is a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics Unit, Field Training Officer, Police Training Officer, Crisis Intervention Team and Peer Support Team. Marcus is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a Gunnery Sergeant with over 15 years of service and two combat tours of the Middle East. MPO Savage holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma. Marcus also has an extensive working history with the Norman Public School system, both as an employee and as a police officer.

Darien Quattlebaum-Moore MEd is the final developer of My Body…My Life…. Darien is a retired Middle School principal, with over 30 years of educational and administrative experience. Darien helped to mold the program for use, application and acceptance in the school systems. Darien holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree of Education in Administration, both from the University of Oklahoma. Darien lead her middle school, Longfellow Middle School in Norman, to obtain the U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and to obtain a $1,000,000 technology grant to provide laptop computers for all of her 7th and 8th grade students in 2010.

Officer Carl Pendleton is a primary instructor for My Body…My Life… Carl has been a police officer for four years. Carl is part of the Critical Incident Team, a Drug Recognition Expert, Police Training Officer and an instructor in domestic violence. Prior to this, he was an assistant athletic director of development for the University of Oklahoma. Carl holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, with a minor in Religious Studies (with special distinction) and a Master’s Degree in Adult and Higher Education, with an emphasis on Intercollegiate Athletics Administration, both from the University of Oklahoma. While at the University of Oklahoma, Carl was a member of the football team which took him to two national championship games, three Big XII title games and, a Holiday Bowl Appearance. He also serves as a board member for the Women’s Resource Center and the Coordinated Community Response Team for Domestic Violence in Cleveland County.

Lieutenant Jim Keesee is an instructor, a supervisor and one of the editors for the My Body…My Life…program. Jim is a supervisor for the Norman Police Department, currently working in the Office of Community Policing, with over thirty years of experience as a patrol officer, investigator and first line supervisor in both patrol and investigations. Jim has participated in the Bike Team, Field Training (both as an officer and as a supervisor), Oklahoma Highway Safety Office grant supervisor (for traffic enforcement and under 21 alcohol enforcement projects), Advisory Board member for the University of Oklahoma Center for Risk and Crisis Management, Security and Resource Officer for the Norman Public Schools and a State Board Member of the Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System. Jim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and postgraduate work toward a PhD in Economics, all from the University of Oklahoma. Lieutenant Keesee is an adjunct professor for criminal justice and business management, both undergraduate and graduate programs at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Phoenix.
